State Referee Committee COVID-19 Guidelines
Referees should follow guidelines outlined in State Referee Administrator’s 6/30/2020 letter:
In anticipation of MNJYSA Return to Play, your league has created an email account to facilitate the reporting and dissemination of any COVID-19-related issues our member clubs may encounter.
Each club should designate a single representative to report these issues to avoid the inevitable malign actor seeking to create havoc and confusion. This designee's name and contact info (email & cell phone) should be forwarded to the club's RVP.
Please report COVID-19 -related issues to MNJYSACovidReporting@gmail.com and include the Club and Team name and a brief description of the issue. Please be cognizant of individuals' right to privacy and leave names out of the report, but feel free to identify the person in question as a player, coach, referee or spectator as this may dictate what further actions may be required.
Each community where our clubs are active will undoubtedly have their own contact tracing protocols in place. In some communities, there could be multiple protocols depending on whether fields and facilities are on state, county, municipal, school district or private property. Each home team is responsible for abiding by these protocols. MNJYSA assumes no responsibility for any club's compliance with these protocols.
