When the MNJYSA Board voted to begin the Fall 2020 season a week earlier than usual, we were hopeful to complete the full 10-game season before the anticipated second wave of coronavirus hit in the latter part of Autumn. With the completion of Makeup Weekend (11/21-22), our Fall 2020 season is now concluded. We are pleased that ~83% of the 1,850 scheduled Fall 2020 matches were played.
Please be advised that pursuant to Governor Murphy's recent Executive Order restricting the size of outdoor gatherings effective Monday, November 23rd, the MNJYSA Board decided at its November 18th Board Meeting that it will not sanction any games after Sunday, November 22nd. Referee Assignors have been advised not to assign any referees for any MNJ game after this date.
Since Spring 2021 Flighting will be heavily dependent on complete and accurate Fall 2020 score reporting, MNJ is extending its deadline for Fall 2020 score review, entry and correction to Sunday, November 29th @ 11:59PM. Corrections cannot be made to scores in GotSoccer if more than 48 hours has passed since entry. Please report any required score corrections to your club's RVP so scores can be corrected by a League Administrator.
Lastly, the MNJYSA Board wishes good health and a happy holiday season to all players, coaches, team and club administrators, referees, assignors and all of their loved ones. It was a challenging season in many ways, and hopefully Fall 2020 turns out to be a once-in-a lifetime experience.
