After many years as MNJYSA 2nd Vice President, Nicole Scarmato has decided to step down to focus more time on her family and her legal practice. "When her guidance has been requested she has been immediate and on point with the players' and Mid-NJ's best interests taking center stage," said MNJYSA President, Ken Schinkel in a recent email notifying his fellow Board members of Nicole's decision. "Nicole's sharing of her time has been greatly appreciated, she will be missed."
"I have chosen Chuck McCook, a long time soccer person to take the 2nd VP position," Ken continued. "Chuck has traveled up the soccer ladder as we all have from parent, team manager, coach, vice president of travel and now also a referee. He serves as Chairman of the Spotswood Planning Board and is in his 30th year as a member of the bar of the State of New Jersey."
"Thank you Nicole and welcome to Chuck," Ken concluded.
Chuck will serve out the remainder of Nicole's term. The focus of the 2nd VP's role is to advise the Board on legal matters.
