NJ Youth Soccer (NJYS) is looking forward to our return to competition on July 6th in line with Governor Murphy’s Executive Order #149, which details the process to resume organized youth sports. Barring new information from Governor Murphy, this date will mark the progression to Phase 4 of NJYS’ “Return to Play” guidelines, which permits traditional practices and competitions on the field while maintaining physical (social) distancing practices off the field.
With the health and safety of membership as a guiding priority, we continue weekly communication with member leagues and clubs to assist through this process. As a reminder to parents and players, if you are not comfortable or ready to return to play, don’t. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our members. Also, we encourage ongoing communication with your club and coaches as regards the specific implementation plan for NJYS Phase 4.
